The Association of Tyrolean Mountain Sports Guides is the umbrella organization that brings together all mountain and ski guides, mountain and ski guide candidates, mountain hiking guides, canyoning and gorge guides. This association is a corporation under public law and is divided into nine sections, each with a committee. 

As a professional association, it represents the interests of all members. The Tyrolean Mountain Sports Guides Association looks after around 2000 certified and officially authorized (“authorized”) members who offer the highest level of mountain sports expertise.
